Have you ever said ‘I want to help out, but don’t know where, how or who to contact’? Or have you just felt like the times you volunteered weren’t worthwhile, or that your skills weren’t fully utilized? Maybe you feel like you’re too busy to volunteer.
The reality is, finding the right volunteer opportunity for your schedule, skills and interests can be a full time job. That’s where we come in!
We’ll cover what you need to know about volunteering for TCA , and how to find the best volunteer opportunity for you. We’ll cover our core programs that cater to every possible skill set, level of commitment and impact area you can throw at them. We guarantee that before you leave you’ll find a volunteer opportunity/program that’s right for you.
We are looking for coaches or recommendations from coaches of advanced players who would be willing to donate a few hours of their time to introduce inner city children to a sport we know that they will love. Many of these children may never get a chance to explore the game of volleyball.
Would you be willing to donate a few hours of your time each week to help introduce the sport to children in the neighborhoods of downtown LA? Do you have a player that is looking for community service hours that could use their dedication and passion for the sport to bless other children around them?
We have an immediate need for a coach this Wednesday from 4 – 5.
Please let us know if you are interested in either this time slot or a future one. The smile on the kids’ faces is well worth the investment of time. We are working hard to provide this opportunity and we would love for you to join us in this endeavor to help make this effort a success.
